What can you do to enjoy your alone time?
When was the last time you had some quality time to yourself to do something that you enjoyed doing? What is your favorite hobby?
Finding things that we enjoy doing and spending time doing those things helps bring that balance to our lives that we need. It helps in keeping us grounded and centered. For me, it’s getting lost in a really good book. Immersing myself in the story to where I can see it playing out like a movie in my mind all around me. The sights, the smells, the sounds, the characters. Every single detail that makes up a magical experience that transcends time. Which is the whole point really of getting lost in whatever hobby you’re interested in. Shutting everything off and losing track of time.
Whether it's reading a book. Being out in nature in your garden. Scrapbooking or even journaling. There are a plethora of things that you can do that make your alone time even more special and unique to you. Even if you just want to sit in silence staring out the window. Time spent with yourself is the most precious gift that you can give to yourself.
It’s not selfish to want to have some time just for you. Even starting off with 5 minutes a day can make all the difference in the world. After that week is over, you can add a minute on each day if you like until you have 1 hour day set aside just for you.

I love to get lost in a great book as well!! There's something about setting up some time to read a book (preferably an actual book and not kindle), lighting a candle, and sitting in a cozy space. It's like a discreet personal adventure! 💜Courtney A
