I Am Conscious!: A Self-Empowerment Poem

I am conscious

Of the love that binds us in one collective heartbeat.

I am conscious

Of the limiting thoughts that are programmed into my subconscious that like to come to the surface to teach me even more about who I really am.

I am conscious

Of every inhale of my breath as I breathe in love

And every exhale of my breath as I let go of what is no longer serving me.

I am conscious

of the signals my body sends me when it tells me it’s time to step away and take a break.

I am conscious

Of my inner voice as it guides me on my path.

I am conscious

Of my personal power to stand in my authenticity to follow my own dreams to create my own reality.

I am conscious

Of how far I’ve come and that I’ve torn down the walls that were keeping me trapped in the shadows.

I am conscious

Of the energy of those around me as they silently wear their hearts on their sleeves.

I am conscious

Of my own emotions as they come to the surface, no longer ashamed to feel my feelings but to ride the tide to see what clarity comes forth when I lean in with love and acceptance.

I am conscious

Of the confidence that has been built by being consistent and determined in taking inspired action in achieving my goals.

I am conscious

Of the awareness that no what happens and no matter who may come and go, I am exactly where I am supposed to be.

I am conscious

Of the love I have for myself and allowing that love to be reflected back out into the world in a magical ripple effect.
