Life means so much to so many people and that in and of itself just goes to show the vastness of the uniqueness of who we are and the beauty that each one of us adds to this magic world.
I bet we could sit around the table and talk for hours and not even begin to touch the tip of the iceberg as to what the meaning of life is. It’s one of those conversations that is complex, yet beautiful and magical all at the same time.
For me, how I would define the meaning of life isn’t in getting up in the morning rushing around chasing after the next “big thing”.
Life for me is spent in the gratitude of the beauty that mother nature has blessed us with.
The sights, the smells, the sounds.
The waves of the ocean crashing on the beach.
The songs of the birds floating in the breeze.
The smell of the rain or a freshly cut lawn.
It’s in the vastness of the night sky, seeing it light up in trillions upon trillions of magical fairy lights reminding us of where we all really come from.
The meaning of life is in the smiles of the strangers as we pass them by smiling at each other; a silent hello shared between two strangers.
We find it in the breath that we take, knowing that at any moment it could be our last for the present moment is the precious gift we have.
We feel it in the embrace of a loved one as we gaze into their eyes.
We feel it on our skins as the wind hugs us with her embrace on a warm breezy day.
We hear it in the laughter of children as they play in the park, new kindred spirits not a care in the world.
We see it on a snowy winter's day, a winter wonderland made up of billions of tiny snowflakes that are just as beautiful and unique as there are people on the planet. Not one the same.
We feel and see it as we say goodbye to those who have taken their last breath. Knowing that that love will always be there in our hearts because love never dies.
The meaning of life is to LOVE and LIVE.
