We are not our thoughts, but the awareness of them. How many times have we seen that quote or have heard someone say that? When we say certain things, we are planting the sees subconsciously that will have repercussions down the road for who knows how long. We may not feel the effects of it right away, but at some point we will. That thought will pop up, reminding us, “hey, don’t forget…..”.
To be honest and vulnerable, yes, I still have my moments with how I phrase certain things. But almost immediately right after, I stop what I’m doing and ask myself; “where the hell did that come from?”. It’s almost like a shock to the system when we start to see the difference in our language patterns once we start to evolve and something out of the ordinary pops up. Yet, there could be a reason it is coming up. A reminder of just how far we have come on our healing journey. A test of sorts from the universe to see if we will continue down that rabbit hole of negative self-talk or go within and ask ourselves the why so we can get to the root cause of what is really going on behind the scenes.
This has been a journey that I’m so grateful to be a part of. Learning how to edit my thoughts and speak to myself in a more loving fashion has brought me a deeper lever of confidence, joy, peace, clarity, empowerment, and freedom. It’s allowed me to grow into a space where my spiritual gifts have flourished. I don’t want to regress and go back to the person I used to be, I want to keep progressing and moving forward in whatever ways possible to say on this path of awareness and enlightenment.
